Policy

Academic Integrity Policy

Academic Teacher provides academic guidance, model examples, proofreading and study support to help students understand and improve their work responsibly.

Learning-first support

Support is designed to improve understanding, structure, writing quality, research planning, referencing and academic confidence.

Model examples

Model materials are supplied for learning and reference only. They should be used to understand structure, research approach, source use and academic expectations, not submitted as a student's own work.

Proofreading and editing

Proofreading and editing can improve clarity, grammar, structure and presentation while leaving academic responsibility with the student.

Dissertation and research support

Research support may help with topic refinement, structure, methodology explanation, literature review planning, data interpretation and final editing. Students remain responsible for their research decisions and submitted work.

Referencing

Students should cite sources properly and follow the required referencing style, such as Harvard, APA, MLA, Chicago, OSCOLA or their institution's own style.

Institution rules

Students must follow the academic regulations of their university, college, school, awarding body or professional organisation. Institutional rules override any general guidance on this website.

Misuse

Academic Teacher does not encourage plagiarism, contract cheating, impersonation, falsified data, fabricated references or submission of model material as original student work.
