Brief and rubric
We review the task question, marking criteria and required output to understand exactly what the student needs and what the institution expects.
Before we quote
A good quote depends on a clear brief. Use this checklist before sending your enquiry so Academic Teacher can review the task properly and avoid unnecessary back-and-forth.
Before work begins
Academic Teacher follows a clear three-step process before any work begins. This ensures the support route matches the academic level, deadline and expected standard, and gives students full clarity on scope and cost before they commit.
We review the task question, marking criteria and required output to understand exactly what the student needs and what the institution expects.
We confirm word count, academic level, referencing style and turnaround to establish a clear, agreed scope of work with no ambiguity.
We recommend the most appropriate service, explain what is included and provide a transparent quote with no hidden costs or upsells.
Quote checklist
You do not need every item before contacting us, but the more complete the brief is, the more accurate the quote and support recommendation will be.
"I need support with a 2,500-word undergraduate business report. The deadline is Friday 5pm. I have attached the brief, marking rubric and two lecture slides. Referencing is Harvard. I need help with structure, research direction and editing."
This is useful because it gives the task type, academic level, word count, deadline, files, referencing style and type of support needed.
Academic Teacher only needs information relevant to reviewing the academic task and preparing a suitable quote.
Send the details you have now. If something is missing, we will tell you what is needed before a proper quote can be confirmed.
